This is a wonderful example of the arts and crafts era 1890's - 1920. The beveled mirror is held in with a copper frame. The center bronze piece holds the mirror onto the crystal.
The crystal handle design is star and scallop with 4 star section designs and 3 scalloped designs. The handle is 4" long and 1 3/4" wide at the bottom. The overall size is 10 1/4" with a 5 1/2" diameter mirror.
The mirror is a little loose but I'd rather not mess with it as I like leaving things in their original condition.
The mirror is not in perfect condition. The metal painted mirror back plate has wear as you can see.
There is at the base of the crystal handle a point that was crushed from laying down to hard. We tried showing it the best we could. It represents the wonderful craftsmanship of the arts & crafts era.
